Wayne Goss, a meme-less novelist lacking both best sellers and literary awards, writes to entertain and delight his friends, family, and readers. Misadventures in business, philosophy, dance, climbing, and skiing color his oeuvre. He loves Shakespeare, challenging climbing, and wicked-fast snow; it drives him nuts to not know a dozen languages. He and his wonderful wife share a modest home a block from the beach in Manzanita, Oregon.
He has authored two Zürich based thrillers, RED MONKEY and CLAVE, both part of the Stonecrop trilogy. The third in the series—working title DUET—incorporates storylines and characters from Toes in Sand. In 2023, he wrote the fictional memoir, How I Learned French or Certain Events in the Life of Otto Pulaski, a literary romp with an understory that touches on issues of gender identity and family connection. Toes In Sand, recently published, is a juicy beach read spiced with humor, philosophy, and a double murder. The protagonist and deuteragonist wrestle with parallel issues of love, loss, redemption, and identity.
